| Working
Man's Hands |

|
James has amazing hands, but they
looked especially beautiful covered with spruce dust and lit
by the setting sun. We worked hard on the booms, and loved every
minute of it! |

As a beautiful squall moves in
over Bainbridge Island looking west, an 18' schooner struggled

| A
Boom in Need |

|
A previous owner recommended refinishing
the boom every 5 years, but it obviously hadn't been done in
quite some time. No rot, though - just a little epoxy work and
a bunch of cetol! |

| Spring
at Winslow Wharf |

|
With eagles being chased between
the masts by the gull - with the ferry parking and the dingy
dock - with all the beauty that we were getting used to...you'd
think a little thing like spring would have been no big deal.
Nope, we were awed once again. |

| SVSN
with Kachina |

|
Kachina was a H-C 38t who's people
were named Mike and Kathy and they were moored-up next to Sovereign
Nation on A-Dock, Winslow Wharf. We had our re-naming ceremony
together and shortly there after they took off for no particular
destination. |

| The
Doldrums |

Stuck in the doldrums for about
two hours is just long enough to ham-it-up for the camera and
grab some monkey food. |

| A
little wind |

After two hours, a sail with just
a little wind is a very exciting sight! |
