11 Winters December 11, 2010 James James' Blog, Life Under Sail … Wintering; it’s not a hibernation, it’s more like an active slowing down of the motion of life on the water. Eleven times in as many biospheres, it never gets easy, it never gets warm and it never gets old. ...Looking East, South-East into Baltimores Turning Basin.
I hear ya… But it does get COLD. Hang in there Brah.
‘Ol winter’s coming in on us like gang-busters and once again you’re in paradise! Can you remind me, AGAIN, why I left Hawaii!!!
Ah – the bucolic haze that begins to surround the scenes of La Mariana Marina in Honolulu…the approach path for all the airport traffic…the drab sand of the eponymous island…the warmth and swimability of the water…hmm…it fell out of balance, but there were good parts.
And this cold rain is not a good part.
… Oh yeah, zee planes, zee Planes!!
Jet Blast sucks….especially at 3:30 in the morning !
Hawaii is not perfect , but it is my home forever.
